range of low hills stretching from Mandai to Bukit Timah. This suburban area was formerly known as Zhenghua estate. The Bukit
Panjang Planning Area forms the hub of Housing Development Board's housing estate - Bukit Panjang New Town. Bukit Panjang
is a quiet town consisting of a mixture of old and new apartments. A population of I, 00,000 citizens are served by over 30,000
